Privacy
This policy covers zyrdon.com, Zyrdon accounts, Zyrdon Notify, and Zyrdon Relay. The code for the Zyrdon server and app goes public on GitHub later. A server that isn't connected to a Zyrdon account sends nothing to these services.
Your Zyrdon account
We keep the sign-in provider, that provider's user ID, and the email address it returned. The email isn't used for sending yet. We also keep whether you opted in to product news. For each server you connect, we keep its name, its random relay address, a hash of its credential, when it was last seen, and how many bytes went through the relay each month.
We store the email address a sign-in provider returns. Nothing is sent to it yet. A later pricing notice or outage email would go to that address. Product news uses it only if you opt in.
Zyrdon Relay
The relay carries the app's encrypted connection to your server. It sees encrypted bytes, plus IP addresses, connection times, and byte counts.
It can't read your chats: the app and the server encrypt them end to end. Their code goes public on GitHub later, so you can audit the app and the server then.
Zyrdon Notify
Notify receives each notification your server sends: the device token, the notification's title and text, and the conversation it belongs to. It hands them to Apple's push service to reach the device, and counts notifications per device to apply its hourly and daily limits.
Cookies and analytics
zyrdon.com sets cookies only for signing in: one for your session and one that protects forms.
Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies.
Where it runs
The site, Zyrdon accounts, Notify, and Relay run on Cloudflare.
Deleting your account
Delete your account from your account page. That revokes every server credential and erases your account's data.
