Zyrdon

Get started

Run the server, set it up in Admin, and bring people in with the app.

  1. Run the server

Zyrdon runs on macOS and Linux. Build it from source with just, Rust, and Node.js with pnpm, or build the Linux Docker image. On first start, the console prints the Admin URL and a login token.

The source code and the operator guide go public on GitHub later.

  2. Set it up in Admin

Open the Admin URL and log in with the token. Setup walks you through naming your server, connecting your AI providers, and setting up each assistant.

Bots and Acts run on these assistants, with nothing else to set up. An optional Decisions model on an assistant makes its bots' choices more precise.

  3. Add people and devices

In Users, add a person, then add a device. Admin shows a device code and a QR code, valid for 10 minutes.

  4. Join the TestFlight beta

Install the Zyrdon app on iPhone or Mac from TestFlight. Add your server with the device code, and start chatting.

  5. Connect to Zyrdon, if you want

For lock-screen notifications and access from anywhere, connect the server to a Zyrdon account from Settings in Admin.
